Where
do I park?
The
drive is gravel and you can fit 6-7 cars total depending on
how large the cars are. You can pull 2-3 to the right hand
side and then fit 4 in the front section ( parked tandem).
Please drive slowly on the gravel- it’s been placed
to make driving easier when there are snow weekends! Please
do not park on the street as there is a Pine Mountain Club
regulation against street parking and you can receive a ticket.
When you pull to the right, be careful to pull into the graded
driveway entrance and then to the right. The entrance is marked
by lanterns on either side. Past the lanterns the side becomes
a slope.
In
Palm Desert please park carpool and park in the garage or
in the driveway.

Can
I make a Phone Call from Crop Inn?
Your cell phone probably won’t work as reception is
not good in the area—you lose coverage just outside
of Frazier Park about 15 minutes from the cabin. But you can
bring a calling card for the house phone for any calls you
may need to make. You may also give the house phone number
to your family in case they need to reach you: (661) 242-2642.
In
Palm Desert your cell phone will work.

Where
can I grab a bite to eat on the way up?
If
you want to stop to eat on the way up, here are some options:
1) In the city of Gorman, which is right off the 5 freeway
1.5 miles south of the Frazier Park exit, there is a Carls
Jr., McDonalds and a Sizzler as well as a few other places
2) At the Frazier Park exit there is a Burger King , A Quiznos,
a Subway and a Mexican Restaurant called Los Pinos , 3) Once
you are on Frazier Mountain Parkway there will be a place
called Mikes Pizza on the left. This is you last stop for
food before Crop Inn. Everything after that is just past Crop
Inn and you can find it in the reference book at Crop Inn.
There is a page dedicated to local restaurants and shopping
in case you’d like to take a break during the weekend.
Note: there are no restaurants that deliver in Pine Mountain
Club, but there are some that are close by.
